  • World ATM Congress, which will take place 26 – 28 October at IFEMA and at the Cuatro Vientos Aerodrome, is the world’s largest international air traffic management exhibition and conference.

  • World ATM Congress, organised by ATCA (the Air Traffic Control Association) and CANSO (the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation) will bring together over 6,000 aviation professionals and more than 200 speakers from around 110 countries.

  • H.M. King Felipe VI will be informed about the latest developments in manned aviation systems and, the great novelty of this edition, the Expodrónica Pavilion, the largest showcase of unmanned aircraft in Spain.

Next Tuesday, 26 October, H.M. the King will inaugurate World ATM Congress, the largest event on air traffic management in the world, taking place 26 – 28 October at IFEMA and at the Cuatro Vientos Aerodrome.

This edition of World ATM Congress, organised by ATCA and CANSO, will feature over 170 exhibitors from almost 110 countries.  Leading experts in the global aeronautics sector will lead more than 250 conference sessions.

This year, World ATM Congress will host the inaugural Expodrónica Pavilion, featuring a complete separate programme and an array of demonstrations, all focusing on the future of flight, unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and the integration of advanced air mobility (AAM), as well as UAS traffic management (UTM). Participants will explore new applications in the industry, including the search and rescue, emergency response, agriculture, public utility, and the audio-visual sectors.

PRESS ACCREDITATION FOR THE INAUGURATION CEREMONY:

Furthermore, to attend the official inauguration ceremony on the 26th of October at 10AM it is obligatory to pre-register by email to the following email address: comunicacion@casareal.es. This email needs to contain your name, surname, Passport or ID number,  birth date, communication media you represent and your function. This email needs to be sent before 12PM on Monday 25th of October,

(The exclusive accreditation for the opening ceremony is subject to confirmation by Casa Real. This confirmation is required)

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS:

In order to access the World ATM Congress on Tuesday, October 26 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., it will be essential to meet the following requirements:

  1. Be registered before Saturday October 23 at 6:00 p.m.
  2. Include the ID or passport number as well as the date of birth in the registry. It is possible to modify the data provided through the link included in the registration confirmation email.
  3. Show the original identity document (the same one provided in the registry) at the access and security points. Photocopies or photographs of the document will not be accepted.
  4. If you are not vaccinated or prefer not to report it, you must provide a valid COVID19 test with a negative result performed in the last 72 hours before arrival at the World ATM Congress. The test can be done on the spot in Rooms 5.1 and 5.2 (next to Hall 5).

These rules affect all visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, Press and any person attending between 8:30 and 12:00 hours on Tuesday, October 26.
